The much awaited Pentax 645D medium format DSLR will finally hit Japan starting in May for 850,000 Yen (about $9,445). As mentioned before, this high performance camera boasts a 40-megapixel 44 x 33 CCD image sensor, a 3.0-inch LCD monitor, dual SD/SDHC memory card slots and is compatible with the existing 645 system lenses.
